Home Restaurant - Hope: A Charming Diner Experience in Hope, BC

Stopped here for a quick bite and was so pleasantly surprised! The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming — you can really tell they care about their customers. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and satisfying. It’s also super easy to access right off the highway, with plenty of parking available. A great stop if you’re passing through or even worth a little detour! Highly recommend.

We ordered three dishes. I wouldn’t say it was bad, but I wouldn’t call it amazing either. Definitely worth trying at least once. A charming and lovely local restaurant.

Classic diner experience. Staff were friendly. The pies are good and the food options are all you'd want from a diner with a few surprises sprinkled in. The menu didn't have a drink section so it was a little awkward when our server asked what we wanted but didn't know the options. Food came out quickly and the pie was good.

We had the chance to visit this place during our road trip to Hope. Honestly, Home Restaurant gave us a true home-like experience from the moment we walked in until we left. First, let me talk about their staff, they are all super friendly, supportive, and, most importantly, always have a smile on their faces. Our table was looked after by a gentleman named SHAWN, and his service was outstanding. He was very down-to-earth and helpful. We ordered Dynamite Prawns, Fish and Chips, and a few additional items. Everything was well-prepared, crispy, and delicious. The portion sizes were more than enough for one person (If you go for Fish & chips - tell them to reduce the chips portion). The prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is great, and the washrooms are well maintained at all times. Highly recommended if you’re around Hope!

Old school, no nonsense, delicious food. Remind me so much of 1980s road trips when the picnic basket is empty and the tummy is hungry. Love love it here. Clean and fast, hot and fresh, delicious. I mean meatloaf and mash and nonstop gravy and real garden vegetables. Oh, and sausage and peroghies and loads of fried onions and more garden vegetables. And the pie. It was like a moment in a time when life was simple and stress free. Thank you!

We tried three vegetarian options, and they were all delicious. The food was fresh, well-portioned, and satisfying for one person. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, making the experience even better. Nice place to have a coffee and desert after a long ride

The strawberry rhubarb pie was the absolute best! But everything else was delicious. I’m super thankful they had the senior/small appetite menu, we were able to eat food and have plenty of space for dessert

Had a great experience at Home! We ordered the fish and chips, the portions were perfect for sharing between two people. Prices are really reasonable, and it’s definitely a great spot if you’re into homemade cakes and cheesecakes. The cozy vibe and friendly staff made the visit even better. Just keep in mind the wait time can be a bit long, especially on weekends and holidays. Totally worth checking out!
